Witham MP tours ‘local landmark’ Golf Centre
Witham’s MP, Priti Patel has paid a visit to the Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre in Evans Way, Rivenhall for a tour of the facilities available at the Centre. During her tour at the weekend, conducted by owners Oliver, Emma and Simon Brice, Priti was shown the new landscaping around the club house, the increased seating area outside, the revamped parking area and was also able to try out the recently added ‘Bear Creek’ 12 hole adventure golf course, which is proving to be a big draw for families with children.
The Rivenhall Oaks Pavilion is also a major wedding venue and can hold parties and celebrations of all kinds in a picturesque rural setting.
Commenting after her visit, Priti said: “It is always great to catch up with Simon and it was particularly pleasing to see the progress being made with the Golf Centre. I am always delighted to see a business in my constituency growing and expanding into a local landmark, with something to offer for everyone.”
Simon Brice said: “We really enjoyed Priti’s visit and showing her the continued reinvestment the family are carrying out at the Golf Centre. Chatting to her about the way the Centre is developing and our plans for the future was also valuable. We are very grateful that she took time out of her busy schedule join us for a tour.”
The visit was organised in association with the Witham Chamber of Commerce.
