Winner of 2023 Christmas card competition announced!

Priti Patel, MP for Witham, has announced the winner of her annual Christmas card competition.

This year Priti was inundated with entries from school children from across the Witham constituency and the successful entry came from Eliza Gardner, aged 8 from St. Andrew’s Junior School Hatfield Peverel. During a visit to the school, Priti presented Eliza with the winners prizes of colouring sets, Christmas treats and her winners certificate.

Priti said: “With so many stunning entries this year it was very hard to choose. However, Eliza’s card really stood out to me and showed great artistic ability.  I was very pleased to meet Eliza on Friday and reveal to her that she was the winner of the competition. It was great to see all of her peers congratulate her for her creativity and hard work. I want to thank everyone who entered the competition and I wish them all a very merry Christmas.”
