Fighting for a health centre for Witham
During the recent Department for Health & Social Care oral parliamentary question session in the House of Commons, Priti pressed the new Secretary of State for Health and Social Care for a new healthcare centre in Witham Town to ensure more resources are provided to meet local health needs across the constituency.
This issue has been a long running campaign for Priti, who during the question session in the Commons highlighted that Witham constituents have one of the highest patient-GP ratios in the country which brings many challenges in accessing the NHS, from primary care to dentistry, social care and hospital appointments.
