Priti officially opens the newly revamped Green Man Public House
Priti Patel, the Member of Parliament for Witham, called in at the Green Man Public House, Green Man Lane, Little Braxted on Friday (11th November 2022) to meet the new owners Ylli and Abi Vata and to formally declare their newly refurbished pub open to the public.
Priti officially opened the Green Man pub with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by pulling a pint behind the bar. The Vata brothers then showed Priti the extensive refurbishment work that has taken place throughout the well-known local establishment. The Green Man has been renovated throughout and new floors have been installed, along with new equipment in the restaurant. The kitchen has also had a major update and a new patio has been installed in the garden area, to provide an additional place to enjoy a quiet meal and drinks on summer evenings.
Commenting after her visit, Priti said: “It was an honour to meet Ylli and Abi and see the extent of the investment they have made in their business, the Green Man. The refurbishment is impressive and has made a real difference in providing a relaxed and comfortable new venue in which local people can spend their leisure time. I wish them every success with their new venture and I encourage local people to give them plenty of support.”
Ylli and Abi said: “We are very grateful to Priti for taking the time to come here today and give the new Green Man a good send off. We enjoyed meeting her and having the chance to discuss our plans for the future with her.”
