Priti visits RAF Cadets in Witham
Recently, Witham MP Priti Patel visited The Squadron at Witham and Rivenhall RAF Cadets. Ms Patel was pleased to the staff and Cadets at 295 Witham and Rivenhall Squadron. The Squadron, which has over 50 members aged between 12 and 20, provides a wide range of activities and training opportunities to young people in Witham and the surrounding area. They also play such an important role in our local community, particularly on Remembrance Sunday with their marching as part of the parade.
Priti said: “The Squadron at Witham and Rivenhall RAF Cadets are a fantastic testament to Witham town. They are always active in the town for key occasions and they bring great pride to our community. They have over 50 members and it was a pleasure to spend time with them during their training evening to speak to them of the importance of public service and servicing our wonderful country.”
