Priti opens new Indian Restaurant in Kelvedon
The Member of Parliament for Witham, Priti Patel, has formally declared a new restaurant, Kelvedon Spice at 98 High Street, Kelvedon open, at a special ribbon cutting ceremony held on the evening of Thursday 8th June.
The new restaurant is managed by Abdul Shalim and his team, whom Priti met during her visit and tour. Kelvedon Spice is an authentic Indian restaurant and provides a varied menu that pays homage to the rich flavours of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. The Restaurant’s experienced team of chefs use time honoured techniques and hand-picked ingredients to craft dishes that capture the essence of these culinary traditions. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are utilised to make the food both affordable and healthy.
Mr Shalim gave Priti a full tour of the premises and kitchens during the visit before giving her the opportunity to sample a range of dishes from the menu.

It is always a pleasure to open a new business in my constituency, particularly when it offers a lovely social setting and good quality food. I wish Kelvedon Spice every success in the future and I hope local residents will support the new restaurant.”
