Priti discusses water network investment
Local MP Priti Patel has visited Essex and Suffolk Water at Sandon by the Hanningfield Reservoir to hear about their new investment strategy. Meeting with Water Director Dr Eliane Algaard and Head of Technical Strategy and Support, Martin Lunn Priti discussed the actions planned to reduce leaks, improve quality and support housing growth in Essex. The meeting was also attended by Denise Rossiter, Chief Executive of the Essex Chambers of Commerce. Priti said:
“I was delighted to visit Essex and Suffolk Water and hear about their investment plans for the County. The delivery of clean water and treatment of sewage requires considerableinfrastructure investment. This also presents opportunities for local businesses and he supply chain and employment for local people.”
Denise said:
“Essex and Suffolk Water are major members of Essex Chambers and we work closely with them to highlight their work in delivering clean and safe water supplies in the county. Given the major housing growth planned in Essex, it was heartening to hear of their plans for the future and how they plan to deliver their investment strategy which will bring real benefits to our members.”
