Apprentices celebrated in Parliament

This week is National Apprenticeship Week, where we celebrate and promote the fantastic opportunities that they provide for young people in particular. Priti had the chance to meet with many fantastic businesses from across Essex and the UK who employ and train young people on apprenticeship schemes.

Priti said: “It was wonderful to meet with so many brilliant businesses and apprentices in Parliament this week. Throughout my time in Parliament and Government I have worked with businesses and young people in the Witham constituency who have benefited greatly from the scheme. However, we need to make sure the levy works for business and reduce the red tape that restricts some enterprises from taking advantage of the apprenticeship scheme.”
