RAAC repairs inspected by MP

Priti Patel MP for the Witham constituency, visited Honywood School again to meet with Headteacher Mr Saunders. Priti received an update on the RAAC remediation work which is planned to start in April 2025 they were also able to discuss ongoing issues with SEND, EHCP and school transport. Priti also thanked Mr Saunders for his work alongside Priti and other Essex MPs in the campaign against the changes implemented by Flagfinder Coaches, just ahead of the new academic year beginning, with regards to changes to their payment system from monthly direct debit to upfront payment has impacted many parents. Mr Saunders campaigned on behalf of parents and Flagfinders resolved this issue by offering both payment options again.
