Domestic abuse charity meet MP in Parliament
Local MP for Witham Priti Patel was pleased to meet the SafeLives team and other domestic abuse organisations in Parliament recently. SafeLives is a charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse. Priti has worked with SaveLives and other supporting charities as Home Secretary to tackle this appalling issue and give these vital organisations support so they can work within our communities to combat domestic abuse.
Priti said: “I was delighted to meet with SafeLives, as Home Secretary I worked closely with them and other charities in the sector to tackle the horrific issue of domestic abuse. I will continue to support all their work to tackle and end domestic abuse.”
