Lower taxes on businesses and households to boost economic growth!
Priti Patel, the Member of Parliament for Witham, spoke in the second reading of the Finance Bill where she highlighted the need for lower taxes on businesses and households to boost economic growth.
During the debate, she also urged the Government to do more to take more people out of fiscal drag, ensuring that the next Finance Bill goes further by raising thresholds for income tax, including for higher-rate taxpayers, and for national insurance.
As the Bill passes through the House and is subject to further scrutiny, it is important that the Chancellor and his team are focused on unleashing future growth by reducing taxes and, importantly, empowering the very businesses that employ people and keep people in their jobs for long-term economic security.
