Priti visits award winning local business

Priti Patel, the Member of Parliament for Witham, recently paid a visit to meet staff at Facial Aesthetics, an award-winning local business based in Rivenhall.  The business, which is a medical aesthetics clinic, provides a number of services as well as skincare treatments.

Along with celebrating their 20^th anniversary this year, the business has also enjoyed recent success at the Aesthetic Awards, being awarded the title of ‘best clinic south of England 2023’. This achievement builds on the recognition of the clinical director and owner of Facial Aesthetics, Julie Scott, who was last year named as ‘nurse practitioner of the year’ at the 2022 awards.

During the visit, Priti met Julie, as well as director Matthew Scott and clinic coordinator Lucie Markham, and congratulated the team on all their recent success.

Priti said: “I was delighted to meet Julie and her team to congratulate them on both their recent awards alongside celebrations of their 20^th anniversary.  The Witham constituency is fortunate to be home to many entrepreneurs and small businesses which provide an incredible range of services.

Locally, the number of award-winning businesses continues to grow and having championed the importance of small businesses throughout my time in Parliament, it is vital we do all that we can to give them the support and encouragement they need to thrive and prosper.”

Julie Scott, owner and clinical Director said: “I am delighted that Priti is taking the time to visit our clinic to celebrate our recent success in winning Best Clinic South England 2023 at the Aesthetic Awards. It is heart-warming to know that we have the support of our local community, but on top of that to have the support of our local MP is really meaningful.

“We greatly appreciate her coming to support and recognise this achievement and know that she will continue to be a strong voice for local businesses in her work.”
