Priti Patel MP meets Christmas Card competition winner

Priti Patel, Member of Parliament for Witham, visited Hatfield Peverel St. Andrew’s Junior School today to meet Jasmine Fenwick, the 8-year old winner of her 2018 Christmas card competition [Friday 25 January 2019].

Priti met Jasmine to thank her for her outstanding design and congratulated her on winning the competition. Priti sent Jasmine her winning prize and a copy of the Christmas card with her design on the front before the festive period.

Whilst at the school, Priti also had the opportunity to catch up with the Head Teacher, Christopher James.

Following her visit, Priti said:

“It is always a pleasure to visit Hatfield Peverel St. Andrew’s Junior School and I am delighted that I have now met Jasmine to thank her personally for her design for my Christmas card.

“I received many creative and colourful designs and the competition was a real challenge to judge. Congratulations to Jasmine and, once again, my thanks to all schools and pupils who participated.”
