Industrial Estate Directors Meet Priti

Witham MP Priti Patel has met with representatives of businesses on the Town’s industrial estate. The Witham Industrial Watch covers the Business Improvement District surrounding the industrial buildings on Eastways and Freebournes and their directors discussed with Priti investment in the road network, traffic, parking and crime. Priti said:

“It was great to meet the directors of the WIW, who represent the interests of dozens of local businesses. Our industrial estates are economic powerhouses that support local jobs and we discussed what more could be done to help those businesses succeed.”

“Crime is a major concern for business and we discussed what can be done to reduce this risk. I am also working with these businesses to lobby for improvements to local roads, action on parking and will reiterate their support for the A12 Widening Scheme and A120 upgrade.”
